Yes. We use a fully waterproof microcement system engineered specifically for bathrooms, showers and wet rooms. It is purpose-built for high-moisture environments and installed to meet NZ Building Code requirements for internal wet areas.

Microcement offers a seamless, grout-free alternative to traditional tiled bathrooms. Without grout lines, there are fewer maintenance issues and no visual breaks. The result is a continuous bathroom surface that feels cleaner, more architectural and easier to maintain.

In many cases, yes. Microcement can be applied over properly prepared existing substrates, including tiles, provided they are stable and meet structural requirements. This can reduce demolition time and create a seamless bathroom finish without removing the original surface.

Substrate preparation: Substrates must be stable, rigid and properly prepared. Level 4 finish required for walls with no visible fixings. All joints, movement areas and transitions must be correctly detailed and reinforced prior to application.
