Russell McVeagh Offices, Wellington

This large-scale commercial fit-out at the Russell McVeagh offices in Wellington demonstrates the impact of Venetian plaster in contemporary workplace design. Delivered by Phoenix Venetian & Microcement, the project features over 600 square metres of Novacolor Marmorino KS, creating a seamless, refined wall finish throughout the interior.

Marmorino KS is a fine-grain Venetian plaster widely specified across New Zealand for its ability to achieve soft texture, tonal variation and a smooth, architectural surface. In shade MKS15134, the finish introduces a subtle depth that enhances the spatial quality of the office without overwhelming the design.

Designed and constructed by Unispace, the interior is defined by fluid lines and considered detailing. The continuous application of Venetian plaster reinforces this language, delivering a cohesive surface that moves effortlessly through the space while maintaining durability suited to high-traffic commercial environments.

Applied by Phoenix Venetian & Microcement, this project highlights the role of Venetian plaster as a high-performance alternative to paint, offering increased depth, longevity and a more refined material finish for commercial interiors.
